 Kevin Hearn (otherwise known as the keyboard player for the Barenaked Ladies) wrote the songs for this record while he was battling leukemia in the isolation wing (H-wing) of Princess Margaret Hospital in Toronto.
Says Kevin, "I do and I don't like the intensity cancer brought to my life. I know my record has helped people because I've heard from them. And Lou Reed said it was a beautiful record.
