Sponsored by the Kids Cancer Care Foundation of Alberta, this program's goal is to give young adults (high school and up) confidence and leadership skills that will lead to long-term vocational opportunities. It is for those on treatment as well as those who may face challenges in getting back to a 'normal' life because of cognitive and/or physical aftereffects. This year-round program is coordinated by an experienced social worker, but the direction is set by the participants through an executive committee that determines the focus of their activities, including sessions on public speaking, updating resumes and development of a corporate mentorship program.
