Texans: time to vote on Proposition 15

Proposition 15 is a Texas constitutional amendment that will fund the Cancer Prevention and Research Institute of Texas with $3 billion in general obligation bonds. The Institute will conduct research to find cures for cancer, support cancer prevention programs in Texas and implement the Texas Cancer Plan, a statewide blueprint for cancer prevention, early detection and control programs.

The bill was passed by voters during the statewide elections on Nov. 6th, by a margin of 61%-39%.  This will be the largest state-level investment in cancer research and prevention in history.
